Tim Tucker, President
Tim, who is a certified building contractor, is the driving force behind Rock Solid Construction, Inc. Having worked for several years as the Loss Prevention Manager for a nationwide construction supply company before starting his own construction business, he developed incredible skills in paying close attention to every detail of the projects he handles. He spent more than five years managing his own company and crew providing framing, siding and ICF installation, before becoming a building contractor. He handles all aspects of the company's projects from planning through completion. Tim is "hands on" with every project, spending many hours on-site providing the oversight necessary to keep each job on track, and quite often lending his unparalleled carpentry skills to ensure that quality workmanship is obtained through each phase of the project.

Mike Hoover
With more than 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Mike, who was also a licensed contractor, contributed his exceptional expertise in ICF construction, as well as design. Prior to his affiliation with Rock Solid Design & Construction, Mike worked as a construction superintendent and project administrator for various construction companies, as well as the State of Florida, Department of Corrections, where he was responsible for the oversight of multi-million dollar projects. He also owned/managed various luxury custom home building construction companies. As a leading ICF builder in the North Florida region, he constructed numerous ICF buildings throughout the Florida panhandle, including several unique coastal and multi-story residential homes and commercial buildings. Apparently, heaven's population was growing and needed a few more mansions, so our friend was unfortunately called home in June of 2010 after a long, hard fought battle with pancreatic cancer, to build a few more mansions.

Nikki Tucker, Payroll Services
Nikki, who is also Tim's wife, handles all of the payroll and employee relations, in addition to other clerical and administrative responsibilities. Prior to working with the company, Nikki worked as a professional receptionist at a prominent Tallahassee law firm.

Samantha Kilbourn, Business Manager
Samantha handles the marketing and public relations for the company. She also assists with project management once the projects reach the finish stage. Prior to joining the team, she worked for two years as the business manager for Michael R. Hoover, Inc., a custom home builder, and sixteen years as a paralegal and office manager/public relations specialist for a prominent Tallahassee law firm.

Amy Gordey, Bookkeeper
Amy handles all of the accounts receivables, bookeeping and invoicing. She also keeps the office running smoothly and is in charge of the office record management and human resources.

Dan Tucker, Client Services Manager
Dan is our OSHA certified Safety Manager and Customer Relations Coordinator. He insures that all of our crews and subcontractors are in compliance with OSHA safety requirements, as well as other licensing and insurance requirements. Dan also assists with client communications, project bidding, budgeting and accounting.

Erin Barnett Vaughn, LEED AP BD+C, Associate AIA, Designer
Erin graduated from the University of Florida with both a Bachelor of Design in Architecture and a Business Minor, and later from Tulane University with a Masters of Architecture. As a LEED AP BD +C, she has gained considerable experience in green building practices and energy-efficient design. She has previous work experience in institutional, education and commercial design and is currently taking her Architect Registration Exams to become a licensed Architect.
